Description
I am an amazing 5-year-old girl who has Cerebral palsy, this affects me in different ways including physically, cognitively and with communication. I need lots of support, but I don't let this hold me back or define who I am. I am looking for a therapy assistant to come and join my team. I attend a local school and after school I need additional support to help me to enjoy social and leisure activities and to help with my therapy programmes. I also need support with my morning routine to get me ready for school.



Responsibilities
I am described by the people who know me best as 'infectious, bubbly and cheeky.' I am sociable and have a great sense of humour. I love playing with my toys/games and spending time with family. I enjoy being in the water and am looking forward to trying new activities. I am looking for an enthusiastic, fun, patient, and reliable person to help me engage in activities and to provide some respite for my mum, who is my main support. You will need to be calm and patient under pressure with the ability to work your hours flexibly.



This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check. Full induction and training will be provided.

Are able to drive, have use of a car and be willing to drive the family vehicle. Have experience of working with children. Enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
