The Referrals Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end referral process, leading the organisation's tendering efforts and driving marketing initiatives to increase visibility and generate new referral opportunities. Job Summary:
As the
Referrals Manager
for all of our Children's Homes, some of your duties will be:
Serve as the primary point of contact for external agencies, social workers, SEN teams, and commissioning bodies.
Coordinate all aspects of the referral process, including sourcing referrals, gathering background information, assessing eligibility, and facilitating timely placements.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of referrals, assessments and placements in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
Work closely with Registered Managers, Headteachers and internal teams to ensure appropriate matching of children to homes and education settings.
Facilitate and attend meetings with stakeholders to support placement decisions and maintain strong professional relationships, which also includes taking notes in meetings and establish actions to move referrals and processes forward.
Lead the identification, preparation and submission of tenders and bids for residential and education services.
Monitor tender portals and proactively seek new business opportunities aligned with Care Perspectives' services and growth strategy.

Qualification & Experience
Essential Skills
Proven experience in referral management, coordination, tender writing and its processes, or marketing within the social care or education sector.
Strong understanding of child safeguarding legislation, trauma-informed care and the needs of children with complex histories and sound knowledge of SEN.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work in fast paced setting with the ability to multitask efficiently.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital systems for data management and communication.
Be comfortable and pro efficient with occupancy targets with a driven mindset and skills to meet these goals.
Full UK Driving License
Desirable Skills
Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Marketing or a related field. Experience in residential therapeutic care or special education settings.
Familiarity with public sector procurement processes and marketing analytics tools.
