We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Reformer Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic team in a state of the art reformer Pilates studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, alongside a solid understanding of anatomy. As a Reformer Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for guiding clients through engaging and effective Pilates sessions, ensuring they achieve their fitness goals in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct Reformer Pilates classes for individuals and groups, tailoring sessions to meet the varying needs and fitness levels of participants.
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of exercises, ensuring proper form and technique to maximise benefits and minimise the risk of injury.
Monitor clients' progress, offering constructive feedback and modifications as necessary to enhance their experience and results.
Maintain a welcoming and positive atmosphere within the studio, fostering community among clients.
Stay updated on the latest trends in Pilates and fitness to continuously improve teaching methods and client engagement.
Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained before and after classes.
Assist in promoting studio events, workshops, and programmes to encourage client participation.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire clients.
Knowledge of anatomy is essential to effectively instruct clients on safe exercise practices.
Certification in Reformer Pilates instruction from a recognised organisation is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with clients of all backgrounds.
A friendly, approachable demeanour that encourages client retention and satisfaction.
