As a Reactive Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer you'll troubleshoot, repair and maintain HVAC&R equipment across a range of commercial sites (care homes, pubs, restaurants, schools, government and corporate premises). You have a strong technical understanding of commercial, light industrial and air conditioning systems, and a proven track record of delivering excellence alongside fellow engineers, apprentices and supporting our customers. You'll work independently and as part of a team, liaise professionally with customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

Diagnose and repair refrigeration and air conditioning faults across commercial systems Carry out planned maintenance and emergency call?outs (on?call rota) Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation Support and mentor junior engineers and subcontractors when required Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations within the business Communicate effectively with clients and fellow team members
Person specification Essential:

Strong fault?finding and technical ability on HVAC&R equipment Able to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication skills Based in South West England (Cornwall/Devon and surrounding areas) 2079 City & Guilds F?Gas certification
Desirable:

6187?21 City & Guilds hydrocarbon refrigerant handling (beneficial but not essential) CSCS card and PASMA (advantageous)
