Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Refrigeration Cold-Room Engineer to join our field service team supporting retail sites across the UK. The role involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration cold-rooms, refrigeration cabinets in high-demand retail environments such as supermarkets, convenience stores, and others.

This is a mobile role requiring travel between sites, with a focus on minimising downtime and ensuring systems remain compliant, efficient, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, diagnosing, fault finding, service, and repair of refrigeration cold-rooms, and refrigeration cabinet including multi-deck chillers, cold rooms, display cabinets, and integral freezer units commonly used in retail environments. Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures and legislative in all tasks undertaken. Deliver high quality maintenance, installation repairs and service work to keep up with our high standard of works and keep our customer satisfaction Represent Coldtech in a professional and competent manner and develop a good working relationship with customers and colleagues. Comply with any reasonable request from management.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 3 years' experience working in Refrigeration Cold-Rooms roles, ideally within a retail or commercial environment. Strong fault-finding and diagnostics skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. CSCS card if possible but not essential, will consider if you don't have an CSCS card.

Desirable:

Experience multi disciplined working with large supermarket refrigeration cold-rooms, refrigeration cabinets.
