Job Description

Our client requires a fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with industrial and ammonia handling experience to work within the Grimsby and surrounding areas.

Summary

As a Refrigeration Engineer specializing in industrial machines, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex refrigeration systems. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your role requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to interpret schematics. You will utilize your core skills in air conditioning and maintenance while applying premium skills in equipment repair and leadership. A valid driving license is essential for this position, as you may need to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair industrial refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot equipment issues using schematics and mechanical knowledge. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while performing construction-related tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with NVQ standards. Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely service delivery.
You would need to have a minimum of 5 years in an industrial environment and hold an ammonia qualification with Co2 experience and at least an NVQ Lvl 2 and F-GAS certification.

You must have a full UK driving license.

In return they offer an excellent recruitment package of between 42,000 - 45,000 per annum with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. A company vehicle, mobile phone and private healthcare and overtime at the appropriate rates and a yearly bonus.
