We are delighted to be associated with several well-known retailers as customers of ours and are recruiting a Refrigeration Engineer, who will fit in to the team in terms of ability and attitude.

About the Role

We're on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team, working in a field-based role based in Kent/South-East/Crawley and reporting to the Regional Manager. You'll be the first response to our clients--attending breakdowns, and carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).

If you're hands-on, solutions-driven, and confident working with CO? and supermarket refrigeration systems, this role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to join a team that values quality work and real expertise.

What You'll Be Doing

Respond to refrigeration breakdowns and deliver first-class repairs and solutions Carry out PPM and commissioning activities across client sites Ensure all work meets health & safety and client standards Participate in a standby rota (typically 1 in 4 weeks) Support on 2-person jobs as required Stay up to date with clients' equipment and technical developments Proactively manage your workload for efficient and effective service Identify any training needs to support your continued professional development

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in refrigeration engineering, particularly CO? and supermarket systems F-Gas qualified CSCS card holder Experience handling hydrocarbons Full UK driving licence Strong health & safety awareness Flexible and willing to work outside normal hours when needed A problem-solver with a proactive mindset and excellent communication skills Commercially aware and results-focused
