The Role - Refrigeration Engineer

We're seeking a fully qualified

Refrigeration Engineer

to join our mobile team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and light commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on, mobile role covering London and the South East, ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to emergency repair calls. Install and commission commercial and light commercial refrigeration systems. Diagnose and repair faults quickly, maintaining safe and efficient operation. Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations, health & safety standards, and industry guidelines. Complete job reports and records using mobile technology and the Cafty system. Travel to multiple client sites across the region.

Experience & Skills:

Fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with current certifications. F-Gas Certification (essential). City & Guilds 2079 (Level 2) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (desirable). Proven experience with commercial refrigeration systems (3-year apprenticeship preferred). Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
