Job Description

We are seeking an experienced refrigeration engineer to join our small team to be part of a highly skilled , and well respected company. Our main focus is on the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment, and related electrical systems. We specialise in the crop storage industry, which is demanding but highly rewarding.

Our core business is within a 30 mile radius of Spading in Lincolnshire, with occasional work further a field. Out of hours emergency call out, is shared between the engineers. (approximately one week/weekend a month)

Duties include planned preventative maintenance, service calls and fault finding, installation works and system alterations. A good proportion of our work is refrigeration related electrical work.

We would prefer experience in all aspects of the trade from installation to maintenance. We offer a supportive work environment; we are a company run by senior engineers, who are out working with you when needed, to give support and guidance. No upper management network, Just a close group of engineers working together, to get the job done!

Our main area of work:-

Refrigeration equipment from 5 to 150kw consisting of packaged and bespoke crop storage, and cold store equipment, for the farming and distribution industries. Some smaller equipment including simple split air conditioning and catering refrigeration. Equipment containing HCFCs, HFCs, and HCs. (No Ammonia).

Most important to us:-

The ability and confidence to work alone, to diagnose faults efficiently and accurately. You must be capable to work to high standards, with a logical and calm approach.

Because of our unique location within the heart of the crop storage industry. Employees must be located within 40 miles of Spalding Lincolnshire.
