We're looking for a skilled Refrigeration Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. Based in Edinburgh/central belt you'll be responsible for installing a wide range of commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems across Scotland and occasionally throughout the UK.
You'll work with Williams Refrigeration and other leading brands, delivering high-quality installations in line with industry best practice and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Assist with commissioning and decommissioning of systems (desirable).
Support loading and unloading of company vehicles with other engineers.
Provide demonstrations and training to customers on installed equipment.
Complete accurate paperwork, job sheets, and timesheets.
Maintain all tools, PPE, and company equipment to required standards.
Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Undertake training as required and work away from home when necessary.
Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota when fully trained (desirable).
About You
You're a motivated and reliable engineer with strong technical skills and a professional approach. You take pride in your work, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in refrigeration installation.
Proven experience installing coldrooms, retail refrigeration, or air conditioning systems.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence (preferably clean).
Desirable Qualifications
NVQ / City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
C&G 2079 F-Gas (or equivalent CITB certificate).
Engineering SKILLcard.
Time-served apprenticeship in refrigeration.
