We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. This role involves installing refrigeration systems across various facilities. The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be capable of interpreting schematics to ensure optimal operation of refrigeration equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in air conditioning, or refrigeration systems.
Duties
Work with small teams during installation projects
Assist with construction or upgrades with related refrigeration infrastructure
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations
Qualifications
Proven experience in refrigeration engineering or a similar role within the mechanical or construction sectors
Strong understanding of schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts
Demonstrable mechanical knowledge with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance
Leadership qualities with experience managing or supervising small teams preferred
Knowledge of air conditioning systems, their installation, repair, and maintenance
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics effectively
Experience working within construction environments is advantageous
Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds or NVQ in refrigeration or HVAC engineering are desirable
