Job Description
Dyfed Recycling are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Refuse Collection Vehicle Driver to join our waste management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating refuse collection vehicles to collect and transport commercial, and industrial waste to designated disposal or recycling facilities.

06:00-16:00Key Responsibilities
Operate refuse collection vehicles in accordance with traffic laws and company safety standards. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely waste collection. Collection of waste bins and bulky items. Perform daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical issues or damage. Maintain accurate records of collections, mileage, and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and the public. Ensure compliance with environmental and health regulations. Respond to emergencies or route changes as directed by supervisors.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence. Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card. Previous experience in waste collection or driving heavy goods vehicles preferred. Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items. Strong awareness of health and safety practices. Ability to work early mornings and in all weather conditions. Excellent time management and reliability.
