Job Title: Recycling Collector

Pay Rate: \xc2\xa311.16 per hour with Weekly Pay

Location: Kendal, Cumbria. (Candidates must be able to make their own way to work)

Start Date: Immediate start available

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 05:00 - 14:00.

Duties:

Collecting Waste: Refuse loaders are primarily responsible for physically collecting waste containers such as bins, bags, or recycling bins from designated pickup points. They load the waste onto collection vehicles using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
Loading and Unloading Vehicles: Refuse loaders load waste containers onto the collection vehicle in an organized and efficient manner. They also ensure that the waste is properly secured and doesn\'t pose a hazard during transportation. Upon reaching disposal or recycling facilities, they assist in unloading the waste.
Following Collection Routes: Refuse loaders follow assigned collection routes to ensure that all designated areas are covered. They need to be familiar with the route and schedule to optimize collection efficiency.
Adhering to Safety Protocols: Safety is a critical aspect of the job. Refuse loaders must follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injuries, especially when handling potentially hazardous materials or working near traffic.
Customer Interaction: Refuse loaders may interact with residents, businesses, or property owners during their collection rounds. They might answer questions, provide information about waste disposal guidelines, and ensure that waste containers are properly placed for collection.
