The Role



We are looking for an outstanding

Regional Academy Manager (RAM)

to take ownership of our

Yorkshire, North East & Scotland region

.
This is a high-impact role responsible for the operational excellence, coaching quality, recruitment, and growth of all academies within the region.

You will be the key link between Head Office and your coaches on the ground--ensuring they feel supported, motivated, and delivering against our standards.

Key Responsibilities Operational Delivery



Conduct

academy site visits 4 days per week

, ensuring each location meets PFA operational and safeguarding standards. Lead audits, observe coaching teams, and maintain excellence across every academy. Oversee regional performance, reporting quality scores, concerns, and improvements.

Coaching & Development



Mentor, support, and develop Head Coaches and Academy Coaches. Drive the implementation of our syllabus, coaching philosophy, and weekly communication packs. Deliver in-person coaching CPD where needed.

Recruitment & Staffing



Lead the recruitment of new Academy Coaches within the region. Conduct online and in-person interviews (with training provided). Support new staff through onboarding and induction processes.

Customer Experience & Growth



Maintain strong relationships with players and parents. Support new academy launches and drive retention across the region. Problem-solve operational issues and maintain consistently high standards.

What We're Looking For



Experience in coaching, sport development, education, or operational management. Strong communication and leadership skills. Confident decision-maker with high personal standards. Comfortable travelling daily and managing a large territory. Someone who is passionate about youth development and ready for a role with variety, responsibility, and autonomy.

Working Pattern



Monday - Friday only

4 days out on academy visits

(across Yorkshire, North East & Scotland)

1 day working from home

for admin, recruitment & operations

No weekends


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 30,000.00 per year
