Job Description

Are you a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional with a passion for building strong client relationships and driving business growth? Brusco Food Group is looking for a sales enthusiast who thrives on making a positive commercial impact by building meaningful customer relationships and working in partnership with our customers, sharing expertise and delivering ingredients solutions.

You'll grow accounts and generate new leads, through effective communication and relationship building skills, great customer focus and an ability to pick up new information quickly. Your dedication to service, quality and integrity will ensure our customers buy from Brusco with confidence.

After initial training, this role is home based with the requirement for regular UK travel particularly within the South West and South Wales region, and a presence at least monthly in our Evesham Head office.

What You'll Be Doing



Develop and execute a sales plan for your designated regional customer base Build and maintain customer relationships through various channels Ensure a timely response to inbound enquiries and quote follow-ups Convert inbound enquiries into new accounts and profitable sales Collaborate with other departments ensuring accurate customer contracts Determine margins, propose price reviews, and set sample and transport charges Liaise with colleagues to build knowledge of our products and processes Share product knowledge and insights with customers to drive upselling Identify prospects through industry research and event participation Participate in sales meetings and share customer insights, trends, and opportunities Analyse sales data and tonnage reports to spot ordering pattern changes Propose business, system, or process improvements as needed

Skills and Experience



Proven sales expertise, excelling in upselling and conversion, ideally gained within the food ingredients industry Strong relationship building skills Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service Exceptional listening, verbal, and written communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet multiple deadlines Analytical mind, capable of effectively assessing and interpreting data Proficiency in Microsoft Office A flexible and collaborative approach, fostering inclusivity Growth mindset, embracing variety and change

Salary:

40,000 - 50,000 gross per annum (depending on skills and experience)

Full Time, Monday to Friday

Location:

Home based with the requirement to travel regularly within the UK
