Position Overview:
We are seeking to appoint a
Regional Account Manager
to develop London and the South East territory, you will be responsible for nurturing existing customer relationships and generating new sales leads with an effective sales strategy to achieve sustained growth.
The design and supply of commercial Christmas lighting schemes is an exciting, demanding and dynamic role that provides an opportunity for the successful individual to make a real difference to local and wider communities. Working with local authorities (ranging from city to parish councils), Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), large scale private businesses and retail developments, shopping centres and the leisure sector, we seek to bring the very best of Christmas to all of our customers. As a leader in our industry, you will have the opportunity to work on the biggest contracts in the UK.
This is an exciting role suited to someone seeking a new challenge where they can develop their skills, whilst fully contributing to our short and long term growth strategy.
Essential skills and experience:
Demonstrable experience and success in a sales or business development role.
Evidence of providing exceptional customer service.
Experience of new business development and key account management.
Ability to maintain and develop a robust customer database for the London & South East territory utilising our comprehensive CRM package.
Excellent ITC skills.
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients, to include the design of lighting schemes (training provided).
Management of tenders.
Clean driving licence
Desirable skills:
Knowledge of basic electrical systems.
Experience of managing of sub-contractors.
Knowledge of the basic principles of public sector procurement.
Previous experience of home working and managing your own diary.
Core hours:
Mon/Fri 9am - 5pm. Some flexibility will be required for travelling to customer appointments, sales meetings and presentations. During the peak season, mid-October to end-November, some evening and weekend working will be required for on-site project management.
