Job Summary:
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) will be responsible for managing a portfolio of regional accounts value of up to 3.5 million. The RAM will primarily engage with mid-level contract management teams, focusing on high future revenue and profit potential, and significant cross-regional account activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
: Full ownership of a portfolio of up to 3.5 million, and overseeing a portfolio of Local accounts led by Local Account Managers (LAMs)
Client Relationship Management
: Maintain and strengthen relationships with contract management teams within the region.
Strategic Planning
: Develop and execute regional account strategies and improvement plans.detailed action plans highlighting key actions, owners, and delivery dates as agreed during monthly review meetings with the client.
Conflict Resolution:
Conduct escalation meetings and resolve client conflicts.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilise data to inform decisions and strategies.
Reporting and Presentations:
Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the Key Account Manager (KAM) and Client Services Director on account performance and activities.
Contract Management:
Secure renewals, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts end-to-end.

Retention
: Focus on continuous improvement opportunities to ensure client retention and renewal.
Account
Documentation
: Capture high-level details regarding the account, including schedules, contract services, KPIs, existing client challenges, and contractual terms.
Meeting Management:
Attend and document meetings, keeping detailed records of discussions and decisions.
Coaching
: Coach Local Account Managers (LAMs)
Line Management:
Oversee and manage the performance and development of Local Account Managers (LAMs)
Qualifications:
Proven experience in account management
Good understanding of procurement and contract management.
Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Commitment to social value and continuous improvement.
Ability to make data based decisions and proposals.
Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
Ability to coach and mentor junior account managers.
