We're seeking a

Regional Audit RI

to support the

East Anglian

offices. This is a senior leadership role within the region's growing audit portfolio, offering the chance to shape the direction of the service line, lead a talented team, and play a pivotal part in our ambitious growth journey.



The role will be to work with our existing Audit RIs to drive the Audit service delivery and strategy for the Diss, Colchester and Norwich offices, and ideally we're looking for a candidate in the Colchester/Ipswich area. Hybrid working is part of our culture, so you'll have some flexibility on where and how you work.



Having a key role, you'll combine technical excellence with building trusted client relationships, developing people, and supporting the wider growth of the audit team. For the right candidate, there is a clear route to regional Head of Audit and ultimately equity partnership, with the opportunity to progress quickly if that is your ambition.



Within TC Group, you will be part of a larger network of Audit RIs and have the support from the Central Audit compliance team. We offer an exciting opportunity of autonomy for your own region's audits, but access to technical support and guidance and being part of a large group and the benefits which that brings.

Key responsibilities of a Regional Audit RI will include:

Lead the delivery of high-quality audits across a diverse SME client base, ensuring technical excellence and robust reporting. Act as the Responsible Individual for signing off audit files and providing authoritative technical guidance to both clients and colleagues. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, becoming their "go-to" advisor for audit and assurance matters. Manage, mentor and inspire a team of auditors across our offices, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration and professional growth. Spot opportunities to add value, whether through advisory services, business insights, or practical solutions that help clients prosper. Play a proactive role in business development, from converting leads to contributing to the continued growth of the firms. Drive the strategy of audit in terms of usage Audit Tech and efficiencies whilst maintaining best practice and delivering high quality audits.

About you

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:



RI status Previous UK SME audit experience is essential Minimum of 8-10 years' practice audit experience is essential ACA or ACCA qualified Excellent technical knowledge, eg UK GAAP, FRS102, IFRS and ISAs Enjoy working as part of a team and developing effective, long-lasting working relationships at all levels Experience with audit software ideally MyWorkingPapers, and Inflo (desirable). Familiarity with accounting platforms including SAP, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks. Comfortable using digital communication and social media tools where appropriate for professional purposes. A pro-active approach to tasks whether they are big or small Motivated by a fast-paced environment Excited to immerse yourself in our culture and business. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills Must have own car and full driving licence.
