Purpose of Role

The Regional Business Responsibility Manager will take a leadership role in shaping and implementing VINCI Facilities' environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy.





Reporting directly to senior management, the position is responsible for driving key sustainability initiatives, enhancing social value, and ensuring governance best practices across all operations.

This role will support the delivery of our VINCI Manifesto, the Code of Ethics, and our VF Business Plan priorities, fostering innovation and overseeing a commitment to public good.





This role demands an individual with strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and a commitment to sustainability, capable of fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving significant, positive change.

Responsibilities

Lead and drive the development and deployment of ESG initiatives, ensuring they align with the business priorities outlined in the VINCI Manifesto.

Oversee the creation of business cases, budgets, and programs for ESG projects, focusing on energy management, social impact, and environmental responsibility.

Be the internal expert on ESG trends, frameworks, and governance issues, offering guidance to leadership and teams.

Ensure delivery of social value projects by working with social enterprises, SMEs, and external partners, driving community engagement across all operations.

Foster long-term customer relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction by integrating sustainability and governance into service delivery and maintaining high service standards.

Review customer satisfaction surveys, incidents, and feedback to drive continuous improvement and ensure service retention.

Collaborate with internal teams to support innovation, operational efficiency, and HS&E standards while ensuring effective implementation of new solutions.

Lead and oversee internal innovation awards, creating mechanisms for recognising and disseminating innovative ideas and practices.

Maintain a strong presence at industry events to stay ahead of ESG developments and incorporate cutting-edge solutions into operations.


Essential Qualifications/Skills

Extensive experience in developing and implementing sustainability strategies, often with a background in environmental science, CSR, or a related field.

Proven leadership and management experience in leading teams and projects across a matrix structure, driving change and achieving sustainability goals.

In-depth understanding of sustainability challenges and opportunities, including regulatory compliance with environmental and social legislation in large corporate businesses.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate sustainability goals and engage stakeholders at all levels, from executives to on-the-ground staff.
