Regional Hotel Sales Manager - KRO Hospitality - Preston & Manchester

We are a dynamic and growing hotel group, managing three exceptional properties-- the Garner Hotel Preston Salmesbury, an IHG Hotel and two boutique hotels in Manchester; Forty Seven and Velvet which have both recently joined the BWH Hotels brand portfolio under the luxury WorldHotels Crafted brand. We pride ourselves on delivering outstanding hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
We are now recruiting a brand-new role within the group of Regional Hotel Sales Manager reporting directly into the Group Regional Manager. This role would be ideally based at the Garner Hotel in Preston travelling to Manchester 1 to 2 days a week depending on client appointments with the potential to work from home one day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event organizers.
Build relationships with key IHG and BWH contacts.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
Collaborate with hotel management teams to optimize occupancy and pricing strategies.
Represent the hotels at industry events, agency presentations, networking functions, and trade shows.
Site visits and client entertainment.
Completion of RFP's and proposals for business.
Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports / updates to senior management
Requirements:
Proven experience in hotel sales. Experience of working within IHG hotels would be advantageous.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties.
Knowledge of the North West hospitality / hotel markets.
Preference would be a candidate who has worked within an environment where they can work alongside multiple stakeholders and is able to build relationships with National Accounts teams to generate revenue and optimise opportunities for their hotels.
A results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Able to drive and have own vehicle (would be paid mileage / train travel to hotel that isn't base hotel).
Able to work flexible and travel nationally if required for client appointments.
