Regional HR Advisor - Logistics / Supply Chain

Location: Leicester/WFH + travel

Salary: \xc2\xa340-45,000 + car/allowance \xc2\xa36,600 + benefits + career opportunities

We are looking for a Regional ER/HR Advisor to join this dynamic market-leading business. Reporting into the HR Business Partner we are looking for an individual who is focused on delivering the people agenda, someone who is a great team member and able to deliver against multiple objectives in a positive work environment.

The role:

  • To conduct policy research and support the development of policies and processes that enhance effective people management
  • To serve as a trusted advisor to line managers and internal stakeholders, offering expert counsel on employee relations matters such as; performance management, grievances and conflict resolution
  • To nurture relationships with unions and ensuring our treatment of employees aligns with our core values and objectives
  • To empower line managers by coaching and guiding them through challenging situations
  • To be the point of contact for team members, offering support and directing them to available resources
  • To collaborate with external providers of ER-related services to ensure timely and relevant support
  • To contribute to the people plan and aligning advice and support with the broader people agenda
  • To manage specific cases, including high-risk ER matters and Employment Tribunals, ensuring successful resolution
  • To analyse employee relations trends and matrix, providing recommendations to enhance the overall employee experience
  • To deliver engaging workshops and acts as a subject matter expert in an allocated area of ER knowledge / activity
  • To support the organisation through TUPE and organisational restructures
The person:
  • CIPD qualified, Level 5 as a minimum
  • Proven ER/HR experience and a thorough understanding of current employment policies and procedures
  • Able to keep up to date with legislative changes and best practices in HR and Employee Relations
  • Previous experience of working alongside trades unions
  • A natural ability to coach and support others
  • Strong communication skills
  • UK driving license with the ability to travel to sites when required
