We have a wonderful opportunity for a Regional HR Advisor to join our friendly and supportive team at Active Care Group.


The HR Advisor will lead on employee relations in the region/division within and will be the first point of contact for all services and line managers. The post holder will manage a case load of employee relations and change management cases including supporting, advising and guiding the management teams ensuring compliance with best practice and employment law.


The successful new colleague will bring experience of strong communication skills with senior stakeholders both face to face and remote. The colleague will be comfortable with autonomy, ambiguity, and travel, whilst having support from the wider HR team.





What you'll be working:




You will be working a total of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role will be home based with some UK travelling.

What you'll be doing:



Provide advice, guidance and support to the business on all employee relations related matters and any further policy advice. Proactively manage both long term and short-term sickness cases, coaching and advising managers on appropriate action and liaising with our occupational health provider where appropriate. Lead on change management activity within the service. Responsible for tracking ER on our HR system and ensure compliance with policy and timescales. Work with the HR Business Partner to identify trends and carry out regular reporting for the service. In partnership with the Regional HR team deliver workshops on employee relations related topics. Providing advice and guidance on policies, procedures and legislation. Contributing to the continuous improvement of systems and practices including local recruitment and retention initiatives.

What you'll have:



CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience (qualification not essential). Good employee relations and employment law knowledge Independent and self-motivated Strong customer focused attitude Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise as appropriate Has a flexible approach and ability to take the initiative

Experience



Experience of managing complex/high volume case loads Experience of the health and care sector desirable but not essential. Experience of working in an HR Advisory capacity previously
