Job Description

Sinclair is looking for a Regional Legal Director, for rest of the world (RoW) to provide global legal support across Europe, Middle East and the United States during a period of organizational transition.
This role will cover corporate, commercial, regulatory, and compliance advisory with a focus on the medical aesthetics industry. The Counsel will partner closely with business leaders to safeguard compliance, manage risk, and support strategic initiatives in line with global governance standards.
As Regional Legal Director RoW, you are the primary legal counsel responsible for providing strategic legal counsel guidance to the Regional Vice Presidents and their team. This role will report to the Chief Legal Officer. You will manage all legal matters arising within those regions and work collaboratively with colleagues in Legal and Compliance for matters which extend beyond your region and have global impact, or which require the assistance of subject matter experts. You will partner with the business and other corporate function business partners in delivering practical, strategic guidance for the business.
Your role will involve delivering practical, business-focused legal guidance that supports Sinclair's growth and objectives in the market. Exposure to the Dutch/Netherlands market is an added advantage.
Location: Flexible across EU countries.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory

  • Act as primary in-house counsel for EMEA and the U.S. markets.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts (distribution, licensing, service, manufacturing, clinical/medical collaborations).
  • Advise on corporate governance, business restructuring, and cross-border transactions.
  • Provide support on intellectual property, data protection, competition law, and employment matters where relevant.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Lead compliance advisory for EU and U.S., ensuring adherence to global policies and local legal requirements.
  • Oversee anti-bribery/anti-corruption, healthcare professional (HCP) interactions, transparency reporting (e.g., EFPIA, Sunshine Act), and promotional compliance in the aesthetics sector.
  • Conduct internal investigations, manage compliance breaches, and provide remedial action guidance.
  • Monitor evolving regulations (FDA, EMA, GDPR, FTC, state laws) and update leadership on impact.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with regional leadership, commercial, HR, regulatory, finance, and supply chain teams to align legal and compliance support with business objectives.
  • Liaise with external counsel in key jurisdictions as required.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on risk, ethics, and compliance culture.
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Law Degree with LPC or equivalent (e.g. Graduate Diploma in Law).
  • Solicitor with at least 6 years PQE, or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a well- regarded international law firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of competition law.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office & AI tools.
  • In depth knowledge of contract law with solid experience of providing commercial and contract advice and drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts.
  • Multi-jurisdictional and competition law experience.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Pro-active, adaptable and flexible with proven ability to be able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment and to work calmly under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An effective communicator, both written and verbal, with strong inter-personal skills and the ability to think on your feet and challenge where appropriate.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Fluent in Dutch / or other languages (depending on role location)
  • Commercially astute, solutions-oriented, with excellent judgment.
  • High integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to influence at senior levels.
  • Comfortable working independently, across multiple jurisdictions, with cultural sensitivity.
  • Previous experience of working in-house.
  • Experience working for a Medical Aesthetics, pharmaceutical or Biotech company is preferred.
