About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Regional Support Team in the South East Region. We are a team of 3 providing vital support to our operational volunteers, lifeguards and staff from Swanage to Southend-on-Sea, including the Thames.

This role supports hybrid working, regularly working from our South East Regional Office in Poole as required by the role, with flexibility to work from home (IT equipment is provided).

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be proactive in your approach, able to juggle conflicting priorities and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service and communication skills, able to build rapport with volunteers and staff, with a good telephone manner.

As a Regional Lifesaving Support Coordinator you will:-

  • Act as a regional point of contact for lifesaving volunteers and staff providing support and guidance.
  • Liaise with stations and lifeguards to order stores, equipment and PPE
  • Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to raise orders and process invoices
  • Coordination of crew cover & payments to help maintain operational service
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation and maintain regional data using MS Excel
  • Support in the planning and coordination of regional conferences, meetings and events
Knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft AX is an advantage, although full training can be given
