As Regional Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the safe management and efficient running of the maintenance teams in Scotland Region.
Ensuring that all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks are suitably planned, actioned and/or mitigated. All the time ensuring that maintenance is planned and executed in line with company expectations, policies, procedures and guidance.
Implement and/or maintain maintenance KPI's and metrics that deliver the required information to the different levels of the Company. Working with peers, jointly responsible for appropriately supplying risk assessed, planned and phased CAPEX funding requests to the Engineering and Project Teams
Key Responsibilities Accountable for the safety (process and occupational) performance of the maintenance team
Identify and implement improvement practices/processes in co-ordination with other associated departments and teams
Support operational teams to ensure the safe preparation/ handover & receipt/ re-commissioning of all assets under operational control
Implement and/or maintain maintenance KPIs and metrics that deliver the required information to the different levels of the organisation
Drive continuous improvement regarding maintenance activities
Ensure all corporate and/or Scotland and Ireland business systems are functioning correctly and are populated with and supplying the correct data. (e.g. CMMS, Incident Reporting, Management of Change)
Working with peers, jointly responsible for appropriately supplying risk assessed, planned & phased CAPEX funding requests to the engineering & project teams
Investigate near misses and incidents to identify root causes and actions to stop re-occurrence
Ensure all people, process and plant changes are appropriately controlled and managed
Strive to remove waste from the organisation.
Comply with and champion the values and fundamental principles of the organisation.
Deputise for the UK & Ireland Maintenance Manager when required.
About You
You will have experience in a Regional Maintenance Managerial role with a minimum of 5 years' experience working on a top tier COMAH site. Be able to demonstrate extensive experience in the management of safe systems of work practices and experience in permit control, risk assessments and method statements. You will have managed teams previously both on site and remote workers.
Communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
