is seeking a dedicated

Regional Maintenance Manager

to oversee our care facilities across the region. Covering Homes in Wirral and Shropshire this role is vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence and ensuring our residents receive outstanding care. Join us in leading a team that values compassion, quality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities1. General Maintenance & Repairs



Carry out day-to-day maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, joinery, painting, and basic HVAC work. Respond promptly to maintenance requests raised by care home managers. Diagnose and resolve faults effectively with minimal disruption to residents.

2. Preventative Maintenance



Conduct regular site inspections across all care homes within the region. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks in line with company schedules. Identify potential issues early and recommend corrective actions.

3. Compliance & Safety



Ensure all maintenance activities meet regulatory and health & safety requirements (e.g., fire safety, legionella checks, emergency lighting tests). Maintain accurate records of checks, repairs, and inspections. Support external contractors during compliance testing and larger works.

4. Asset & Property Management



Assist with equipment upkeep including mobility aids, beds, hoists, boilers, alarms, and building systems. Monitor condition of buildings and report major repair needs or capital project requirements. Ensure all tools, materials, and equipment are used and stored safely.

5. Communication & Collaboration



Work closely with care home managers to prioritise maintenance needs. Provide clear updates on repair timelines and completion. Support new home openings, refurbishments, and relocations when required.

Qualifications & Experience



Proven experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry). Experience working in care homes, healthcare, or multi-site facilities (preferred). Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites. Good understanding of health & safety regulations. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Strong problem-solving abilities. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, organised, and proactive. Respectful and sensitive to the needs of elderly or vulnerable residents. Ability to work in occupied, person-centred environments.

Working Conditions



Regional travel required across allocated care homes. Occasional on-call duties or out-of-hours support as needed. Manual handling, working at heights, and use of tools/equipment as part of the role.

Pay: 33,000.00-35,000.00 per year
