Hi-Line part of RSK group, are looking for a Full Time Regional Manager to join them, playing a key role in the day-to-day management of one of their regional depots.

The Regional Manager will need to be based in the North-West of England. Whilst we are open to flexible working, there will be a requirement for the MD to regularly work out of the regional office in Cheshire and visit the other operational depots as required. A key part of the role will be helping with the growth and development of the existing team, and to collaborate with the wider RSK Group.

We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic leader, who can help to grow and develop the regional business, operating as a provider of tree and vegetation management to businesses and private individuals. We are looking for a leader who is prepared to lead from the front, roll their sleeves up, and work alongside their colleagues.

RSK Hi-line is a leading UK Arboricultural company that provides tree surgery and vegetation management services to utilities, rail, domestic and commercial customers. With over 200 staff, RSK Hi-line provides a full range of professional tree surgery and arboricultural services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day performance of the regional depot;

Full P&L responsibility for a 1m+ operational budget;

Working with the Hi-line leadership team, develop and implement strategy to improve profitability, BU performance and operating geographies;

Creating and maintaining strategic client relationships and frameworks;

Managing, rewarding, retaining and hiring talented and dedicated people;

Maintain an unwavering commitment to health, safety, quality, sustainability and environmental objectives;

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

A self-motivated and experienced regional manager/operations manager with an equivalent professional qualification in arboriculture. Equivalent professional experience will be considered;

An in-depth understanding of vegetation management, tree surgery and clearance operations;

Proven experience in running a depot and/or geographical region, ideally with P&L experience;

Will ideally have significant experience within at least one of our core sectors. Experience in Rail, Water and/or Highways will be looked on favourably;

Experienced in running and working to a P&L;

Experience in successfully building, growing and managing people and teams, at all levels, across multiple depots.

Self-motivated and confident, with experience in working under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Proven work-winning and client relationship management skills.

Excellent organisational and great leadership skills.

Demonstrable IT literacy and experience in using Microsoft 365 and other software.

Outstanding communication and inter-personal abilities.

Salary and Benefits
