Job Summary:

Delivery of KPI and budget targets across a number of retail pharmacy branches and ensuring high operational and professional standards. Line manager responsibility for Branch Managers and Divisional Implementation Facilitators

Responsibilities:

Seeking and responding to commercial and business development opportunities and threats to enable growth throughout the division. Ensure effective delivery of P&L by maximising income and controlling costs. Implementation and execution of business initiatives across all branches in the region to successfully deliver initiative outcomes Ensure full compliance with all company procedures, processes and policies across all branches in the region by prioritising branches to receive support from the Divisional Implementation team Time and resource management to enable consistent deliver of required KPIs and targets through branch visits. Frequency of branch visits will depend on KPI performance, audit compliance and business initiatives. Management of direct reports to deliver high professional, commercial and operational standards across all branches in the division by acting upon management information derived from professional and operational audits Maintaining regular and effective communication with key interfaces across multiple channels Recruitment, induction and development of direct reports as required and to ensure appropriate staffing resource across the division. Play an active part in local pharmaceutical decision-making processes through membership of local representative bodies whenever possible.

Key Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

Key Experience Essentials:

Experience of working in a customer focused environment more than 5 years.

Must have a background in pharmacy management with 25000 to 30000 items per month in a very busy pharmacy.

Experience of multi-site work experience.

Must have tender ordering experience.

Must have whole sale (WDA) experience (ex-responsible person (RP) are welcome).

Experience with daily buying with wholesalers

Must have negotiations skill

Knowledge and skills

:

Up to date knowledge of the GPHC legislation Knowledge of Pharmacy Contract and Public Health and Wellbeing Services, ideal but not essential

Motivator with a "Can do attitude"

Excellent communicator Excellent organizational skills

Qualifications Essential

:

Minimum Master Degree or equivalent Pharmacy Degree or Similar Full Driving License Desirable

Pay: 42,000.00-45,000.00 per year
