We are now seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Marketing Manager to join our team.

Role Overview

: As the Regional Marketing Manager at MHALG, your primary focus will be to devise and implement a clear multi-channel plan and strategy for the growth of the regional area of the business within your remit.

Key Responsibilities:



Planning and Leadership: Work closely with the Marketing Director and General Manager on the strategy and planning for the marketing of all venues/ brands within the regional area, that aligns with the Mikhail Hotel & Leisure Group's objectives. Including a fresh look at the overall value proposition for each entity, and how in turn this is communicated to drive revenue and bookings (with key focus on ensuring a strong digitally driven presence)

Reporting and KPIs: Drive achievement of digital KPIs to implement effective measurement processes and developing plans to address any areas of improvement.

Social and Content Management: Oversee all social channel management and content capture and creation for social. Including day to day social media management and community management for multiple sites and managing content capture / shoots for the above with external freelance support as and when required.

Social Content Creation & Artworking: Creation, capture, and editing of photo and video content for social media channels as required, including the development and adaptation of artwork and campaign assets to align with brand guidelines and platform best practices.

Digital Infrastructure and Planning:

Take ownership of all digital infrastructure, collateral, campaigns, assets and relationships to deliver the marketing plan objectives and professionally manage all areas of responsibility.

Devise digital plans and campaigns to support specific sales and marketing objectives, campaigns and events, utilising a range of appropriate digital techniques including SEO, paid search, PPC, digital and social advertising and analytics.

CRM Management: Oversee all CRM management across the regional areas within this remit. Including forward planning, analytics, customer journey automations, gifting offers, etc. Experience using Airship is a bonus but training will be given if needed.

Campaign Management: Oversee and manage digital marketing campaigns on platforms including YouTube, Google PPC, Meta, and AdWords. Ensure that campaigns are data-driven, results-oriented, and optimized for maximum ROI.

Brand Development: Elevate MHALG's brand across digital platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity while driving innovation in content creation.

Website Management: Developing and/or updating websites. Ensuring content is always kept up to date and the website is SEO friendly, with regular SEO reviews.

Venue Bookings:

Working with the Marketing Director, General Manager, Sales and Events Team to devise and implement focused marketing activity to generate bookings for specific use purposes, e.g. Christmas Parties, venue hire for external events. Including but not limited to the creation of brochure content, blog writing, overseeing listings through to social strategy.

Support the Sales team in providing sales collateral, developing client relationships, loyalty programmes and assisting with driving business development through support of CRM, tenders and bids.

Lead on organising attendance at key exhibitions and events, including attending relevant events on behalf of the company and managing the production of exhibition stands and marketing materials, and giveaways for distribution.

Relationship / Partnership Management:

Build and develop relationships with Visit Southport, Chamber of Commerce and the regional tourist board to maximise opportunities to promote the venues, and ensure full advantage is taken of any key listings and promotion via these channels (from venue guides through to exhibitions etc).

Build relationships with corporate clients and work closely with them to ensure content is captured at key events, and this is fed into marketing communications.

Responsibility for the collation of client reviews, key statistics, and the compilation of case studies to feed into marketing communications.

Cohesive Marketing Messaging: Ensure a consistent and cohesive marketing message across all customer touchpoints--online (website, social media), in-venue, media publications, and PR--maintaining a unified brand voice throughout the customer journey.

Analytics & Reporting: Utilize advanced analytics tools to monitor campaign performance, extract insights, and make data-driven decisions. Regularly report on KPIs, campaign effectiveness, and ROI.

Budget Management: Manage the regional marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated to initiatives that provide the greatest impact.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Venue Management and Operations to ensure cohesive strategies and seamless execution of marketing initiatives.

Brand Impact: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all our channels. Monitor competitor initiatives and consumer behaviour to stay ahead.

Utilizing Influencer Marketing: Leverage influencer marketing strategies to amplify brand reach and engage with target audiences.

LinkedIn: Utilize LinkedIn for B2B marketing initiatives, ensuring a strong professional presence and networking opportunities on the platform.

Qualifications:



Education: Bachelor's degree (required) and Master's degree (preferred) in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Chartered Institute of Marketing membership desirable. Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior marketing role with a strong focus on digital marketing within the hospitality or leisure sector working across multiple brands. Expertise: Proven track record in managing digital marketing campaigns across YouTube, Google PPC, Meta, and AdWords. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and content marketing. WordPress Proficiency: Demonstrate strong proficiency with WordPress to effectively manage and optimize our websites, ensuring they are user-friendly, visually appealing, and fully optimized for traffic and engagement. Budget Management: Demonstrated experience managing large marketing budgets across multiple sites/ venues / brands. Team Leadership: Demonstrated experience in building marketing teams, with a focus on fostering talent and driving results. Skills: Leadership, communication, and analytical skills with a strategic mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Passion: A genuine passion for the hospitality and leisure industry, with a keen interest in staying ahead of digital marketing trends.
