Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities



As Regional Member Engagement Coordinator, you'll help bring our regional engagement strategy to life by supporting events, communications, and outreach activities that connect members and promote the profession.




Working closely with Regional Member Engagement Managers, you'll coordinate logistics, manage communications, and act as a first point of contact for member enquiries.




This role sits within the Member Engagement team, part of RICS' broader Markets directorate. It contributes directly to our mission by helping build inclusive, connected communities that support professional growth, member value, and regional impact.




- Act as the first point of contact for general member enquiries, ensuring a helpful and professional experience.


- Support planning and delivery of regional events and board meetings, including logistics, communications, and materials.


- Maintain accurate records, mailing lists, and stakeholder data in line with GDPR.


- Assist with Regional Board onboarding and scheduling.


- Draft and distribute member communications and support outreach to schools and universities.


- Create and update digital content such as newsletters, flyers, and presentations.


- Contribute to regional social media and digital storytelling.


- Manage administrative tasks including invoicing, payments, and compliance.


- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of regional engagement initiatives.


About You



You will be someone who enjoys supporting others, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is looking to grow your skills in stakeholder engagement, communications, and project coordination.




This is a hands on, varied role where your contribution will help build inclusive, connected member communities.




You will be someone who:




- Has experience supporting events, projects, or programmes in a member or customer-facing environment.


- Communicates clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally.


- Can manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a proactive, organised approach.


- Understands data protection principles (e.g. GDPR) and applies them in day-to-day work.


- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and digital tools such as Canva and social media platforms.


- Has experience with CRM or membership databases (desirable but not essential).


- Brings attention to detail and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.


- Is committed to inclusivity and creating a welcoming experience for all members.
