Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
As Regional Member Engagement Manager, you'll lead the development of an inclusive and connected professional community within your region. You'll collaborate with the Regional Board, internal teams, and Regional Business Development Managers to design and deliver engagement opportunities that reflect the needs and aspirations of our members.
From planning and event delivery to showcasing member achievements and leading early careers outreach, your work will shape a vibrant member experience and strengthen RICS' presence in the region. This is a people-focused role where your leadership, creativity and relationship-building skills will make a lasting impact.
This role involves a blend of regional planning, member engagement, and operational delivery:
- Lead the development and execution of the Regional Market Plan in collaboration with the Regional Board and internal stakeholders
- Design and implement inclusive engagement strategies that reflect the diversity of the regional membership
- Organise events and networking opportunities that foster learning, collaboration and community
- Support candidates, counsellors and stakeholders across the region, responding to queries and providing guidance
- Manage the region's digital presence to showcase member achievements and grow engagement

To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Experience engaging and influencing professionals across sectors and career stages
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- A track record of designing and delivering events, programmes or engagement strategies
- Familiarity with governance processes and experience supporting boards or committees
- The ability to interpret data and feedback to guide decisions and improve outcomes
- Proficiency in using social media and digital tools to tell compelling stories
- Effective organisational and time-management skills to balance multiple priorities
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to inclusivity and adaptability
- A full driving license and access to a car, as significant travel is required
