Learnd UK is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regional Operations Leader to oversee and manage our Project Team across the South-West region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BMS Project Manager ready to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a strong BMS engineering background, preferably with hands-on experience in Trend, Schneider, Siemens, or Tridium systems, and a proven record of managing building management system projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
Develop comprehensive project plans and strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Lead the creation of technical design submissions.
Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing recovery plans as necessary.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Maintain high standards in health, safety, and quality compliance.
Drive continuous improvement and foster a positive team culture.
Manage team dynamics and resolve internal conflicts effectively.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
Manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate controls.
Provide regular updates and escalate issues when necessary.
Technical Oversight
Provide expert technical support to the project team.
Oversee integration of HVAC, lighting, metering, security, and other systems.
Ensure legal and industry standards compliance.
Team Leadership
Lead and support a high-performing project team.
Delegate responsibilities effectively based on team strengths and expertise.
Collaborate with the Regional Commissioning Manager for resource allocation.
Quality Assurance
Conduct risk assessments and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Monitor project performance and ensure high standards of delivery.
Liaise with clients to gather detailed briefs and clarify requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
Proven experience in BMS project management.
Technical expertise in Trend, Schneider, Siemens, or Tridium systems.
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
Desirable:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
BMS-specific certifications (Trend, Tridium, BCIA01/02/03).
Electrical safety awareness training.
