Regional Manager - Multi-Drop Courier Operations

Role Overview:



As the Regional Manager for Driver Crew Logistics, you will have complete responsibility for overseeing and expanding our multi-drop courier operations within your designated region. This includes operational excellence, strategic growth, team management, and client relations, ensuring the highest standards of service and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



Operational Management:



Oversee multi-drop courier operations across multiple depots in the region, ensuring seamless daily activities. Launch service at new locations, managing the full lifecycle including site setup, driver recruitment, onboarding, training, and continuous performance management. Ensure performance KPIs such as delivery success rate, timeliness, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved. Actively manage operational challenges, promptly resolving client concerns, service disruptions, and operational emergencies. Plan and coordinate daily shift schedules, ensuring complete coverage of delivery rounds, promptly managing issues such as driver absences, vehicle breakdowns, or other operational disruptions. Execute and manage new driver recruitment where required, and oversee payroll, ensuring pay within your region is correct Manage client claims and charges for lost-parcels and non-compliant deliveries, ensuring the correct steps are taken to mitigate and resolve.

Team Leadership & Development:



Hire, lead, manage, and develop your regional support team (1-2 members) along with driver team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance operational effectiveness.

Business Growth & Client Management:



Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and proactively addressing any operational concerns. Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the region, including new client acquisition and expansion into new geographical areas.

Reporting & Communication:



Provide regular operational reports and updates to director.

Skills & Experience Required:



Proven experience in managing multi-site courier or logistics operations. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. Exceptional client relationship management skills. Ability to analyse operational and financial data effectively. Flexible and responsive, capable of managing unforeseen operational demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,040.00-44,460.00 per year
