About the Role
Our client, a well established home care provider, is seeking a dynamic, experienced
Regional Registered Manager
to lead the launch and growth of services in a new region. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for establishing, managing and developing a high-performing care service that meets regulatory standards while embodying our values of compassion, quality, and innovation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven leader with a strong background in regulated health and social care services who's looking to shape something from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
Care & Compliance
Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care aligned with CQC requirements
Implement and monitor care policies in line with the Health and Social Care Act 2008
Lead pre-admission assessments and ensure care plans are tailored and regularly reviewed
Drive compliance with all legislation and regulatory standards
Leadership & Team Management
Develop a strong, inclusive team culture that promotes learning, quality, and accountability
Recruit, supervise, train, and appraise team members
Promote staff development and ensure consistent staffing levels and skill mix
Act as the main contact for all staff concerns, performance issues and professional development
Business Development & Operations
Represent the business locally--building community links, awareness, and referral partnerships
Lead on marketing and service promotion in your area to build client base
Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, budgeting, audits, and digital care systems
Work independently in the early stages before building and managing your local care team
What We're Looking For
Essential
Level 4 or 5 NVQ in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Prior experience as a Registered Manager or similar senior role in a regulated care service
In-depth understanding of CQC frameworks and regulatory responsibilities
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proficient IT skills, including Office 365 and familiarity with eMAR or digital care systems
Ability to manage dual priorities: quality care delivery and business growth
Desirable
Management or supervisory qualification
Experience launching a new branch or service
Commercial awareness and ability to convert new referrals into clients
