Regional Sales Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Executive to join our team and drive sales growth of our surge protection devices across a defined territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and promoting our surge protection solutions to electrical wholesalers, contractors, distributors and end users.

Proactively identify and develop new sales opportunities.

Conduct regular visits to prospective and existing customers to present product solutions and close sales.

Promote the company's surge protection devices to electrical wholesalers, contractors, distributors, and end users.

Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and identifying up-selling or cross-selling opportunities.

Develop a deep understanding of each account's needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

Provide technical product advice, demonstrations, and training to clients and stakeholders.

Stay current on product developments, standards and regulations, as well as competitive offerings in the marketplace.

Create and implement a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory.

Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions using CRM tools.

Provide feedback to internal teams (warehouse, sales and senior management) on market trends and customer needs.

Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely order fulfilment.

Attend trade shows and industry events as required.

Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings at the head office.

Qualifications & Experience:



Proven experience in field sales, preferably in the electrical / commercial / industrial sector.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, preferably with exposure to surge protection devices or related technologies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Full, clean driving license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Preferred Qualifications:



Experience working with electrical wholesalers, and/or contractors.

Familiarity with surge protection standards and applications across commercial, industrial and residential sectors.
