Fully remote working with travel to various training centre sites on occasions

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to help develop our learner acquisition programs?across Government funded courses and skills bootcamps within the construction sector.

The role reports directly to the Regional Sales Director and will have direct interaction with various departments, multiple areas and senior managers across the business.
The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication and people skills to motivate your team. Ideally you will have previous experience within a training organisation and have a good understanding of delivery activities.

As a Telesales Adviser at Construction Helpline, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking guidance with CSCS cards, CITB tests, NVQs, and construction training services. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, identify customer needs, and provide accurate information to help them book the right services. Your goal is to deliver exceptional customer service while meeting agreed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities



Customer Engagement & Sales



Handle inbound and outbound calls to promote Construction Helpline's full range of services. Understand customer needs and recommend the most suitable training, tests, or certification options. Process bookings accurately and efficiently. Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Follow up on warm leads and maintain strong customer relationships.

Product Knowledge



Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CSCS cards, CITB tests, NVQ qualifications, and industry requirements. Explain the booking process clearly and confidently to customers unfamiliar with the construction sector.

Customer Service & Administration



Provide professional, friendly, and compliant advice at all times. Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately in the CRM system. Handle customer objections effectively and resolve basic queries. Escalate complex issues to the senior sales team where required.

Skills & Experience Required



Essential:



Previous telesales or call-centre experience (inbound or outbound). Strong communication and rapport-building skills. Confident telephone manner with the ability to close sales. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Basic computer literacy and CRM experience.

Desirable:



Experience within construction, training, or certification services. Understanding of CSCS/CITB processes (full training provided if not).
