The Regional Sales Leader will plan, sell, and offer strategic guidance to local sales teams members to drive revenue, growth and stability for Gracenote's suite of Entertainment Data products. Addressable markets include local Pay TV Operators, OTT platforms, Broadcasters/Publishers, Research Companies, Advertisers, and Agencies. The Regional Sales Leader will have a book of accounts and revenue targets while also leading a small regional sales team, reporting into the Global Vice President.

Job Responsibilities



Own the Regional territory with the goal of achieving specific sales revenue targets. Strategically, understand and convey internally the regional content and entertainment market trends. Develop and manage prospect/client relationships from prospecting, onsite engagements, trade shows and referrals. Using honed sales skills/processes, drive growth in the territory through develop strong market relationships, implement successful sales strategies and win new customers, current customer retention while identifying market opportunities. Establish sales proposals, renewals processes, pipeline building, and closing tactics for the territory, while also sharing and mentoring these tools and knowledge with the regional team. Managing a small team, working closely with operations, product leaders and finance teams are daily requirements, this role is an active leadership position that requires interoperability engagement. Foster a team of winners who pride themselves on success that lead to personal and corporate revenue objectives. Implement programs for improving and monitoring sales performance and productivity. Manage active customers' relationships and needs, convert those needs into upsells. Meticulous tracking of account activity through SFDC required

Qualifications

The candidate should have a Growth Mindset, be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic Passionate for technology within the media ecosystem. Good at building relationships with customers, prospects and the market. Sense of urgency: hungry for the next deal and closing current deals as quickly as possible Track record of executive level strategic sales combined with exceptional tactical execution. Exceptional executive poise, communication, leadership, presentation, time management, multi-tasking and organization skills. Ability to lead, engage and mentor a small team to achieve wider levels of success across the team. An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and cross functional teams in product, content, tech, legal, finance, and customer experience. Must be proficient in written and spoken English Multiple language skills are a bonus.
