Regional Sales Manager

You will lead a regional trade sales team for the southern area and bring business strategy for PPG Direct Trade segment to stimulate improved sales, margin and market share performance. To bring sales and market expertise to PPG to allow growth across Direct Trade and deliver a total coating solution. To work in collaboration with the Decorating Centre Network, Specification and other important departments within the department to use collaborative growth. Main job parameters consist of people management, sales, creating growth and ensuring increased customer spend whilst encouraging team spirit, engagement, customer experience and brand advocacy. You will report to the Direct Trade Sales & Specification Director.

Key Responsibilities

• To develop a regional sales strategy for Direct Trade sector which will realise sales, margin and market share growth.

• Lead a regional Direct Trade sales team following PPG Selling Machine to ensure performance Indicators are realised.

• Establish sales goals by forecasting and developing annual and monthly sales quotas for a region and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for our products.

• Direct, support, develop and motivate all employees to achieve from their prospective territories regarding business development, market reach and utilisation of resources, cascading training and promotional activities.

• Develop relationships with all partners.

• Promote cultural change and development into the region and conduct regular team meetings to provide leadership.

• Provide high levels of engagement, recognition, involvement and empowerment following Company values.

• Manage the performance process for all staff, to ensure achievement of targets specified for achievement of budgets, sales force standards, Client Link systems, Health and

• Safety and general work performance.

• Provide weekly and monthly field report of activity to the Trade Sales and Specification Director.

• Act in an ethical and responsible manner and comply with the PPG policies.

Qualifications

• Degree level or equivalent with at least five years relevant sales and team leadership experience

• Worked with industrial / construction / consumable products
