We are currently going through an exciting period of growth and therefore recruiting for a number of positions across the UK to represent our Business.
This role is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong relationships with clients, and identifying new business opportunities in the industrial oils and lubricant market. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, be extremely self-driven and a proven track record in business development.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and prospects, both with distributors and with end users.
Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs and develop strategic sales plans.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment and customer expectations are met.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
Negotiate pricing and terms with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Attending industry trade shows, networking events, and meetings to represent the company and generate leads.
Track and report sales performance, including forecasting and pipeline management.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
Meetings and Additional Position Requirements
Regular meetings with the sales team and management to review targets and strategies.
Client site visits and presentations.
Participation in company training programs and sales workshops.
Travel to trade shows, client meetings, and networking events as required.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience in Industrial Lubricant, Plant and Machinery Sales would be desirable but not essential
Experience in business development, pipeline management or account management in industrial lubricant sales.
Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Key Deliverables/Projects
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and execute strategic business growth plans.
Maintain and expand customer database.
Provide detailed sales reports and market analysis.
Successfully launch and promote new product lines.
Daily travel and high number of face-to-face meetings required to achieve results.
