Job Advert - Regional Sales Manager - Mid UK & Wales (M4-M62 approx.)



Acquisition Systems Ltd (ASL), trading as Pharmagraph, is a well-established and growing engineering company providing monitoring and control systems for the pharmaceutical, NHS, and life sciences sectors, as well as general engineering and military applications.

Pharmagraph is the trading name of our pharmaceutical division, providing environmental monitoring systems to pharmaceutical manufacturers, and it is this division that the successful applicant will be working for.

The role



This role is ideal for someone early in their sales career who is eager to progress into a technical field sales position. You will receive full product and industry training, with mentoring from senior sales and technical specialists. Your primary focus will be supporting existing accounts, developing new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers within pharmaceutical and cleanroom environments. Some overnight travel will be required.

Whats involved?



Support the development and execution of the regional sales strategy. Identify and secure new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, and regulated industries. Manage and grow relationships with existing customers, distributors, and partners. Conduct site visits, product demonstrations, and technical presentations with support from Applications and Engineering teams. Prepare proposals, tenders, and quotations in line with customer requirements and compliance standards. Represent Pharmagraph at trade shows, industry events, and networking forums. Maintain accurate sales reporting, pipeline management, and CRM updates. Provide market intelligence and feedback to internal teams to influence product development and marketing strategies.

Skills and Qualifications:



Essential:



Some experience in a customer-facing, technical, or commercial role (e.g. inside sales, applications support, service engineer, technical support, or similar). Some understanding of GMP, MHRA, or regulatory compliance environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Self-motivated, target-driven, and confident working independently. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region.

Desirable:



Technical background (engineering, life sciences, or similar). Experience selling capital equipment or SaaS-based monitoring solutions. Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales methodologies. Centrally located to be able to service the territory effectively and efficiently
