Manchester / Northwest

Salary: 45,000 plus car allowance, plus Bonus Scheme




Hours: Monday to Friday



This is an outstanding opportunity to join a well-established family run company. The Regional Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding the portfolio of high-profile existing accounts, whilst identifying and maximising development opportunities.



You will be responsible for driving sales growth, by enhancing brand visibility to grow sales within the Northwest of England. The successful candidate should be sales driven, an excellent communicator who is able to demonstrate successfully the ability to maintain and develop relationships. You should have commercial acumen with a proactive and results driven mindset, be well organised with a strong attention to detail and motivated to work remotely.



Your goal will be to achieve forecasted growth within the hospitality sector through the delivery of high-end food solutions from our purpose-built production kitchen and warehouse of speciality food products.



Travel is required monthly to the company head office in Kilmarnock.

What Will I be Doing?

Implement a strategic plan to achieve new business sales targets and revenue growth. Identify margin growth opportunities and provide commercial rationale and a plan for implementation where appropriate. Design and execute strategic developments within existing customers through menu development & product promotions. Plan, develop and review short, medium and long-term goals for each account with detailed pathways to each target via business plan. Provide a responsive and customer-oriented service while ensuring the commercial well-being of Braehead. Ensure that customers see Braehead as their trusted 'Go to Solution' Develop strong collaborative relationships with other Braehead central functions (Procurement, PK, Marketing, Operations, Finance) Deliver agreed budgeted targets (GP and volume) within agreed frameworks Prepare and present business proposals; conduct structured, objective-led customer meetings; ensure follow-up actions are delivered within agreed and acceptable timeframes Provide accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management and customer reporting to management team. Complete weekly and monthly reporting updates on client meetings and outcomes.

What Experience Do I Need?

Field sales experience within foodservice. Well organised and efficient in planning customer/prospect visits. Resilient in the presence of competition and rejection. Excellent negotiation, communication and persuasion skills. Ability to achieve targets & business critical KPI's
