A leading medical device company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join their UK commercial team, overseeing the Southern region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales leader to drive growth, develop high-performing teams, and strengthen relationships with healthcare providers across the region.
As Regional Sales Manager, you will lead a team of Area Representatives, supporting them to deliver exceptional service to hospitals, manage demonstrations and trials, and ensure sales targets are consistently met.
In this role, you'll be working with a cutting-edge endoscopy portfolio, featuring innovative products that are helping to shape clinical practice and improve patient outcomes. You will have the chance to champion these fantastic solutions, bringing real impact to healthcare professionals and their patients, while driving growth across a high-potential region.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead, manage, and develop a team of Area Representatives to achieve regional sales targets
Support product demonstrations, trials, and training sessions to maintain the highest standards
Deliver new and refresher training programs to your team
Oversee recruitment campaigns for new team members as required
Monitor market trends and report insights to the Sales Director
Review and manage the sales pipeline of direct reports monthly
Produce and submit accurate sales forecasts for the team
Plan, delegate, and oversee regional exhibitions and courses
Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings, approve annual leave, and hold annual appraisals with direct reports
Maintain in-depth knowledge of all products within the teams portfolio
Consult with manufacturers on product-related matters
Ensure compliance with company policies, frameworks, and commitment agreements
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in sales leadership within the medical device or healthcare sector - either direct team management, or strong evidence of mentoring / training junior Sales Reps
Strong understanding of clinical and hospital environments
Demonstrated ability to manage, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
Excellent organisational, planning, and reporting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Results-driven with a strategic and consultative approach
Experience in managing sales pipelines, forecasts, and regional budgets
