Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and outgoing individual who is keen to develop in a fast-paced environment who is friendly with an outgoing persona, building relationships & driving sales with clients over the phone and meeting with them face to face at their sites. You must have the ability to solve problems and develop long term relationships with customers, hauliers & suppliers.

The ideal candidate will be confident in driving sales with previous experience in a similar sales role, successfully meeting monthly sales targets & closing new business opportunities.

A typical 5-day week will entail

2 days travelling around south of England visiting suppliers' waste management sites.

3 days will be based in our office in Tunbridge Wells in Kent. Making sales calls / touching base with suppliers & booking loads etc.

General Responsibilities and duties (but not limited to):

Maintain existing database and develop new leads in line with company targets. To close new business opportunities in a competitive industry. Drive sales & meet planned procurement goals and targets. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status. Help co-ordinate collections and deliveries with hauliers & suppliers to meet daily targets. Visit Supplier & Customers to build relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty Carrying out site audits for suppliers and customers. Provide holiday and sickness cover, taking messages and forwarding on to relevant people where necessary. Input data into relevant company software packages to generate invoices from sales. Dealing with customer or internal requests efficiently and responding to customers in a timely manner. Act responsibly and in consideration of all relevant regulated authorities. Act responsibly and in consideration of all company protocols and procedures. Attend trade shows & company events
You must be reliable, and able to adapt to new a challenging situation. You must develop long term relationships with customers and suppliers and be willing travel.

Pay: 40,000.00-45,000.00 per year
