Securitas are recruiting for a Regional Security Manager. Working closely with our client, you will be responsible for overseeing a number of security aspects including access control, customer support and first line incident response/analysis.

  • Working 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday - Days only)
Your Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement security protocols, procedures, and SOPs to ensure the safety of customers, people, and company assets.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for security incidents but also supporting customers with more general queries through the management of emails, calls and projects.
  • Working with access control platforms to ensure an effective and efficient access control service. Including access level management, first line access support and card creation.
  • Working on various projects as assigned by the Regional Security Managers.
  • Analyse data to identify trends which may pose a potential security threat and or provide opportunity for improvement.
  • Works closely with all stakeholders to ensure communication and good practice is maintained across the service.
  • Escalation all complaints and inquiries received from the client, management, staff, or other departments; investigates, prepares reports/statements, collects evidence, and presents findings to senior management.
  • Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.
  • Constantly evaluates operational programs for service delivery consistencies and efficiencies. Recommends and implements solutions to fix operational deficiencies.
  • Coordinate with the local law enforcement agencies and emergency services to respond to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Investigate security incidents and reports findings to Corporate Security management team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Key Stakeholders internal and external to enhance security awareness and promote a safe environment,
  • Serve as a leader, coach, and mentor, meet regularly with employees, evaluate performance of personnel.
  • Recognises frequently changing priorities and events, directs the activities of the SOC Team and care advisor in a timely manner.
  • Reviews and approves reports and other documents prepared by Officers to ensure accuracy and adequacy, ensures cases are properly prepared and presented, prepares internal correspondence,
  • Promote teamwork and cooperative problem solving among subordinates, monitor compliance with rules, regulations, procedures, and strategic directions.
  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public, occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background and reference checks, controlled substance testing, and behavioural selection survey.
  • Handling and being exposed to sensitive and confidential information.
  • Conducting oral presentations and group meetings.
  • Directing, motivating, training, coaching, and disciplining staff in a positive manner.
Essential Skills

Essential:
  • Experience in Security Management desired
  • Strong knowledge / experience of protocols, procedures.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the relevant country.
  • Full 5-year checkable history
  • Preferable to have BTEC Level 4 in managing security surveys and/or APM project management.
  • Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.
