We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our HR Team. Talent Management is an integral part of business operations across Lidl ensuring all learning and development activities are fully implemented to impact positively on the business. This role will be based in Lidl's regional distribution centre in Northern Ireland with travel to Dublin Head office on occasion.



The Regional Senior Talent Management Specialist (STMS) will be responsible for supporting operational projects alongside maintaining Talent Management systems such as Success Factors Learning and Talent. We are looking for someone who can effectively partner with our operational departments and our colleagues in Northern Ireland.



The role will be focused on planning, co-ordinating and supporting all training and development within our stores, warehouses and offices e.g. The Leadership Academy high potential suite of programmes, talent management bi yearly feedback process, onboarding new colleagues, Health and safety, Compliance, Vocational Apprenticeships etc. The Regional Senior Talent Management Specialist will report directly to the Talent Management Director.



The objective of the role is to deliver on the strategic Talent Management objectives and support leaders across the business in line with the employee life cycle in

Succession Planning Onboarding & Learning Talent Development Performance Management Coaching and Mentoring Reporting and Compliance of above Design, delivery and facilitation

What you'll do


Compliance reporting is a key part of this role, with particular focus on legally required and mandatory trainings. The regional STMS will report and escalate as per the international process for their region on a weekly basis Partnering with business areas to identify, design, plan and implement training & development interventions Support succession planning efforts across business areas and advise on personal development plans (PDPs) Complete regular reviews of existing learning programmes to ensure alignment with the business strategy Support further development, localisation and operational implementation of national and international training and development concepts (e.g. The Leadership Academy programmes) Delivery and facilitation of soft skills training i.e. Leadership Academy and Lidl Learns, Insights etc Attend relevant management meetings (regional director meetings etc) to deliver presentations and communicate new concept Development and implementation of concepts for developing new employees (e.g. Onboarding, coaching/mentor/buddy programmes) Analyse data and trends to identify opportunities and efficiencies to improve on performance and development Manage regional education support programmes eg The NI bursary programme and Apprenticeships NI Support Line Managers in identifying career path opportunities as part of their objectives of team's development Analysis of training evaluation and evaluation of training programmes, developing appropriate actions in answer to feedback Support for departments in implementing the leadership model in all departments of the company (e.g. training, Induction etc) Contribute to events and activities to enhance the reputation of Lidl Ireland and Northern Ireland as a Top Employer Ad hoc projects within the Talent Management strategy
