The Role
We are recruiting for a Regional Services Senior Analyst (RSSA) to join us!
This is positioned to provide service and support to Underwriting and Underwriting Servicing areas. Supporting the Regional Service Manager, the Regional Services Senior Analyst will maintain oversite of Post Bind Proportional and Non-Proportional Treaty processing as well as Pre-Bind renewal activities. Giving support to our Controls and Audit Teams the RSSA will assist in maintaining the Genpact relationship across Pre and Post Bind, drive Data Quality and Quality Control standards and practices for the London Region.

Key Accountabilities
Contributes to, monitors, and advises on the plan developments and changes in order to ensure relevancy, compliance and optimal delivery
Assists in the preparation and implementation of the operational team plans to ensure these are in line with wider business strategy and reflect key priorities
Determines own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement of the function's objectives
Shares knowhow within the team on pre bind, post bind, finance and credit control activities and acts as point of contact for the UW in absence of the Regional Service Manager
Is responsible for a range of duties and, as an experienced practitioner, completes transactions, within a broader range of value and complexity (making decisions within authority limits) to ensure that operational processes and/or individual transactions are appropriately executed and that files, documentation and related systems are properly maintained
Support internal and external audits
Develop the proper skills required to analyse, probe, and generate insights from appropriate data sources
Respond to complex and time sensitive requests both from internal, outsourced, and external sources
Perform QA of offshore data entry within agreed SLA's and report errors found
Respond to queries raised offshore and provide insights into why queries are emerging and make recommendations to reduce query volumes based on process/people
Ability to process complex broker/client accounts and giving guideline to outsourced teams
Operate collaboratively with colleagues in the team to acquire and share knowledge and expertise, understand required standards of performance
Develops own knowledge of standard procedures and processes
Acts as a point of reference to guide and advise others to ensure the sharing of knowledge and best practice
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Exceptional knowledge of core (re)insurance principles, Reinsurance technical accounting and types of contract wordings
An appropriate understanding of risk and underwriting concepts to support Underwriting Staff, justify MI and instruct outsourced operations teams as needed.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical reasoning, numerical reasoning, problem solving, analytical and creative thinking skills
Good Excel skills
