Polygon UK is on the lookout for a
Regional SHEQ Manager
to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in making our operations safer, more sustainable, and fully compliant. What you'll be doing:
Be the go-to expert for SHEQ matters across our Northern & Scottish operations.
Act as a "critical friend" - offering support, guidance, and challenge to our operational teams and senior leaders.
Lead from the front - visible, present, and actively involved in promoting safe work practices.
Drive SHEQ performance improvement through audits, coaching, and compliance reviews.
Support incident management and ensure lessons are learned and shared.
Influence positive safety behaviours and help embed our values of Excellence, Integrity, and Empathy.
Maintain strong knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. CDM, CoSHH, Fire Safety).
Contribute to ISO and external certification goals.
Support site inspections, risk assessments, and SHEQ communication forums.
What we're looking for:
5+ years in a similar SHEQ management role.
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential).
Membership of IOSH, ISSRM, or similar professional body.
Experience with ISO-certified management systems and conducting audits.
Solid industry knowledge (insurance, construction, domestic & commercial environments).
Desirable but not essential:
NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent.
Internal Auditor qualification.
NEBOSH Diploma or Environmental Qualification (e.g. IEMA).
Mental Health First Aider accreditation.
Experience in training delivery or instructional techniques.
