Regional Solid Surface Manager | North of England/Midlands
We are looking for an experienced Regional Solid Surface Manager to oversee the growth and profitability of our North England/Midlands region. As a FTSE 100 business with an ambitious growth agenda, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead our field-based fitting teams in delivering a truly bespoke worktop installation service that reflects the quality and craftsmanship our customers expect.
In this role, you'll ensure that every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, with no callbacks on quality. You'll play a key part in developing our solid surface operations, managing performance, driving process improvements, and promoting a strong safety and service culture across the region.

What you'll be doing as a Regional Solid Surface Manager:

  • Lead and support the growth and profitability of solid surface installations across your region.
  • Manage fitting teams through the Installation Manager, ensuring a professional, consistent, and safe installation service.
  • Liaise with factory teams to track and manage KPIs for template and installation performance.
  • Implement effective reporting systems to monitor compliance, cost control, and performance metrics, while reviewing customer feedback and addressing any issues.
  • Host and participate in staff and builder forums, sharing best practice and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Represent your region at regional board and factory service meetings, providing updates and insights on performance and progress.
  • Support Area and Depot Managers in promoting the fitting service, educating teams on new products and processes, and building confidence across the sales network.
  • Take responsibility for all health and safety aspects of the regional solid surface fitting operation, ensuring full compliance with company and legislative standards.
What do you need to qualify for the Regional Solid Surface Manager:
  • Proven line management experience, ideally within field-based or installation teams.
  • Background in the trade, merchant, or construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety legislation related to installation and field operations.
  • Excellent influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive informed decisions.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and solution-focused -- able to see challenges as opportunities for improvement.
