We are seeking a confident and experienced Regional Support Manager to provide strong operational leadership across a group of nurseries in Muswell Hill and the surrounding area. This is a senior role within the leadership team, working closely with the Regional Manager to uphold exceptional standards of childcare, education, compliance, and operational performance across all settings.
You will ensure consistency of practice, mentor Nursery Managers, and take responsibility for leading the region in the absence of the Regional Manager. This role is ideal for a proven Early Years leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-setting environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day leadership across multiple nursery settings to ensure operational excellence and high-quality childcare.
Act as Regional Manager when required, assuming full responsibility for regional performance.
Support Nursery Managers to achieve and maintain EYFS, safeguarding, Ofsted, and health & safety standards.
Monitor performance against KPIs, contribute to quality improvement plans, and report progress to senior leadership.
Deliver coaching, mentoring, and professional development for management teams.
Conduct site visits, audits, and compliance inspections to assess quality, effectiveness, and regulatory adherence.
Manage and report serious incidents, ensuring swift, appropriate follow-up.
Support recruitment, induction, and development of nursery leadership roles.
Collaborate closely with the Regional Manager to deliver operational growth and business objectives.
About You
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 5+ desirable).
At least 3 years' leadership experience in an Early Years environment.
Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, Ofsted expectations, and health & safety compliance.
Proven experience managing or supporting multiple nursery settings.
Confidence in handling Ofsted inspections, action planning, and quality assurance.
Excellent communication, team-building, and coaching skills.
Highly organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing varied priorities.
Flexible, calm under pressure, and solution-focused in your approach.
