Reporting to the Regional Training Manager / Regional Training Coordinator, the Regional Training Officer will provide training activities at all stations within their region as required. This will include delivery of training to employees in a classroom and practical setting for initial and refresher training.
Each Regional Training Officer will be a subject matter expert in a minimum of one function and have the ability to be cross utilised in all generic training delivery and assessment.
They will provide support to On the Job Coaches (OJC) at station to ensure local specific requirements are met, and that any delivery is conducted in accordance with Swissport Training Policy and Procedure expectations.
They will complete regular training assessments to ensure standards are maintained.

Organise and book training related facilities as required.

To ensure that all training provided across sites is inclusive and that good practice can be evidenced.

Qualifications:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Demonstrable experience in managing, monitoring and evaluating learning and development solutions, across a diverse range of disciplines and delivery methods.
Solid demonstratable experience of leading teams in a demanding, fast paced, heavily regulated environment that focuses on service delivery.
Strong people skills and an ability to forge excellent working relationships with a wide range of internal / external stakeholders.
Excellent understanding of Health and Safety and track record in meeting safety related targets
Well-developed organisational, negotiating, decision making and analytical skills.
Ability to use metrics to demonstrate ROI / ROE
* Proficient in Microsoft / IT skills
